Sky Cripps-Jackson editorial hairstylist, colourist and transformational coach based in London

Hi, again x

I've spent the last two decades helping people tell their story through hair.

Originally from New Zealand, I've spent over 20 years working in hair. If you'd told me when I started that I'd still be doing this all these years later, I don't think I would have believed you.

What has kept me here is people.

I've always been fascinated by the relationship between identity, confidence and appearance - how we choose to present ourselves, the stories we tell without saying a word, and the unspoken power that comes from feeling aligned with who we are.

Health and wellbeing have always been a big part of my own life, and over time they've naturally become part of my work too. I believe great hair isn't about chasing perfection or trends. It's about understanding the individual in front of you and creating something that feels authentic, effortless and sustainable.

My career has taken me from the salon floor in New Zealand to the international fashion + entertainment industry, working across runway, editorial and celebrity. Those experiences have shaped my eye for detail and taught me to combine technical precision with an understated, lived-in finish.

Over the years I've collaborated with publications including Vogue, PORT, Puss Puss and Wonderland, and with brands such as Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Loewe, Dior, Chloé, Ralph Lauren, Montblanc, Celine and Versace. I feel most inspired working with people and brands that share a thoughtful, creative point of view.

Alongside my work as a hairstylist, I'm also a qualified transformational coach. Whether I'm working backstage, on set or in the studio, my approach is the same: to create an experience where people feel seen, understood and leave feeling more like themselves than when they arrived.

Because I don't believe hair changes who you are.

I believe it helps you recognise yourself.
